Access to servers to play Overwatch and World Warcraft has been denied to all users following the massive DDoS Blizzard attack. We still await further confirmation from Blizzard to further clarify the damage to Blizzard.
The Blizzard DDoS attack is also the second on Blizzard servers in 23 days, after a handful of cheating gamers also DDoS’d the service when they were banned in early August. The attacks come days from the release of World of Warcraft: Legion the next expansion pack for Blizzards epic World of Warcraftseries.
There aren’t many ways to counter a DDoS attack from affecting your devices than a tool with anti-DDoS capabilities. Once such tool PureVPN was given this unique protection feature back in 2014 and has been protecting gamers for some time now. Other choices include renowned lag reduction app KillPing and leading US VPN provider IPVanish.
